Schedule is subject to (slight) changes.
*If a student is absent, he/she is responsible for getting missed work and/or notes from Mrs. Cat.

OPPORTUNITY FOR EXTRA CREDIT~6TH, 7TH, 8TH GRADE CLASSES

As today (Wednesday, 12/12) is the Feast of OUR LADY of GUADALUPE, and our Middle School students heard Father Jacob's wonderful Homily about Saint Juan Diego's tilma, in which the Blessed Mother's image is miraculously present.

To expand on the amazing details we learned at Mass, all Literature students watched a very interesting video illustrating the scientific evidence verifying the truly miraculous aspects of this beautiful image.  I have given the students a few websites to visit and gather a bit more information. In class tomorrow, we will be spending the first 30 minutes of class writing a few paragraphs describing what we've learned.

Every student has the opportunity to EARN up to 15 EXTRA CREDIT POINTS for their paragraphs--based on knowledge gained & shared, focus on topic, use of challenging vocabulary, varied sentence patterns, supporting details, and of course careful sentence structure, neatness, correct grammar usage and mechanics.
