Meet the Teacher

This is my 18th year of teaching!  Wow! How time flies! I was at North Liberty for 15 years and this is my third year at MCS!  I have been married to my husband for 14 years.  We were married at St. Joe.  Our three beautiful children have attended MCS since my oldest, Jacob, was in K.  He is twelve now.  Lucas is ten, and Lauren is 7.  Enjoy every second with your children!  They grow so fast!  In between teaching and running my children to sports, I enjoy reading and swimming.

Education Experience

I attended IUSB and earned my bachelor degree in Elementary Education.  I then went back and earned my master's degree at IUSB. Teaching has always been a passion for me.
