A little bit of information about me...
A lifelong Mishawaka resident, I’ve been a parishioner at St. Bavo parish my entire life. After graduating from Penn High School, I attended St. Joseph College (Rensselaer, IN) where I earned my bachelor’s degree in elementary education. My first 10 years of teaching were spent at St. Bavo where I taught 3rd and 4th grade as well as served as the resource teacher. During this time, I earned my master’s degree from Indiana University, obtaining my certification to teach special education.
I took 10 year hiatus from teaching in order to stay home with my husband Todd and my 3 children. Our 3 children are all grown now and in college-Loyola School of Law, Purdue, and Ball State. Having my school "kids" helps fill the void of being an empty-nester.
This is now my 23rd year of teaching, and I love it as much today as when I first started! Thank you for entrusting your children to this wonderful school and parish community. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Peace!
