Sorry for the confusion on the reading packet for Cam Jansen. We just realized we were not explicit on that last week.  Please take the remainder of this week to complete that for your reading assignment.

3rd Grade Remote Learning

Did you enjoy your day off yesterday?  What did you do? We are truly loving the pictures parents are sending of you guys doing your activities!  Monday we saw pictures of many of you writing your words outside. Thank you parents for sending in!

Is there anything we can help with or do to support you?  Remember, we are still here to help.! Please email, text, or send a message on Remind if you need assistance and we will help as best we can.

Here is your agenda for Friday, March 27, 2020

Each day choose a box from your Lenten calendar to complete.

How are your Lenten promises going?  I would like for you to reflect on what your Lenten promises were and write 2 sentences for each:  Prayer, Fasting, and Almsgiving telling me how they are going.

This is National Cleaning Week!  Each day, please do something to help around your house without being asked.

Handwriting

How is your cursive going?  Remember to slant your book and ask for help if you need it!  It’s easier to adjust now than to try to correct bad habits later.

Complete the next letter in your handwriting book.  Also, during this time off, make sure you are caught up on everything we have done so far.  Do a little at a time to make it easier!

Writing

Your weekly writing assignment.  As you already know, this Corona virus has shut down nursing homes, no one can go in and no one can go out.  Some of these elderly people are very lonely and Mrs. Stevens and I thought you guys could cheer them up!! You are going to write two letters, one is to my friend’s mother Mary Ann Hess and the other is to Mrs. Stevens’ dad                      .

I understand that you don’t either of these people so here are some ideas you could write to them….introduce yourself, tell them your name, age, where you go to school, what you like to do, play, tell them about your family, maybe tell them a joke, draw them a beautiful picture, etc…. Please make sure to have all parts of a friendly letter:  heading, greeting, body, closing, and signature. I am asking that you mail these from your own mailbox by Friday, March 27th.
